The countries surrounding the Mediterranean have great potential in both film production and tourism. MovieMed aims to create a Mediterranean network, uniting the strengths of the audiovisual and tourism sectors, to help develop this potential.

How

Moviemed will help :

- Promote Mediterranean film production through better information on the natural, human and technical resources of the area, through improved efficiency and quality in facilitating shoots and through the creation of co-production opportunities

− Develop links and interaction between the film and tourism sectors.

Partners

Moviemed is lead by the Marseille Provence Chamber of Commerce and supported by the European programme Invest in Med*. The countries making up the partnership are : Egypt, France, Lebanon, Morrocco, Spain and Tunisia.

Marseille Provence Chamber of Commerce is organizing this 2nd edition in partnership with Souss Massa Drâa regional center investment and the Ouarzazate Film Commission, with the participation of La Province de Ouarzazate.
